The Congress held a meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Saturday, August 3, 2019, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at The Charlotte Museum of History.
The program included presentations about Mecklenburg County in the Colonial and Revolutionary Eras:
The Roads, Rivers, Fords and Ferries in the Colonial Era
Mecklenburg Roads used by Patriots and Cornwallis in the American Revolution. (Further information is at the EleHistory website: American Revolution - Sites, Events and Troop Movements )
The Spanish Road.
Participants also reviewed and edited a collaborative map of the roads and other features of Mecklenburg County in the colonial and revolutionary eras.

The Congress held the General Meeting for 2019 in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
After the business of the Congress, presentations examined the roads and other revolutionary-era features of the area.
The Congress visited the site of the old gaol and courthouse and the causeway .
