The Historic Mapping Congress (HMC) MapStoria Project is a collaborative effort using crowdsourcing technology to identify, evaluate, catalog, and display historical sites, events, locations, and roadways associated with the states of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. A historic site is any location where political, military, cultural, or social history has occurred. The database covers the historical time frame from approximately 1650 to 1800.

Your assistance in this effort is solicited and welcomed.  If you would like to participate, you can submit documents, maps, images, media, and other sources of information on locations and roadways for consideration.  It is most important that this information be authentic, accurate and complete as possible.
